We are changing the world of convenience meals (fast foods), by introducing innovative and healthy meal concepts with authentic flavors and the best local ingredients. We offer mouth-watering meals at home and/or at work, when you’re traveling, or if you are in a (care) institution.

About us
Our history.
The idea started over 50 years ago in a hotel kitchen where meals were being prepared for nearby businesses. Our founder, Fons Aaldering, thought that this could be done differently, and in 1969, he built a factory for pre-prepared meals in Doetinchem and Marfo was born. All of this was the start of who we are today. An established company specializing in producing meal solutions for airlines and health institutions, amongst others. Thanks to the vast experience acquired over the years, we are now the most innovative partner in unique food concepts. Something we are very proud of.

Our involvement ranges from choosing raw materials close to home, all the way down the line to our own climate-friendly production. In 2019, we were taken over by Fleury Michon. A successful meal partner with the same strong focus on sustainability. For example, they have reduced the amount of plastic in their packaging material by 6000 tons in last ten years. A match made in heaven, perfect fit for us, and a company that we wanted to commit ourselves to. Together, we have ambitious goals. We are immensely proud to state that we are a certified ISO NEN-EN ISO14001 (renowned environmental) company. Our goals relate to animal welfare, water use, green electricity and CO2-neutral production. Together for a better future.
